James "Jim" Hamrick, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 30, 2024 at the ripe old age of 87 in Tampa Oaks, Florida. He was born on June 18, 1937 to Earl and Bertha Ann Hamrick, who surely did their best to raise a man who would leave a lasting impact on those around him.

Jim was known for his sharp wit, his love of practical jokes, and his ability to always have a good time. He married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Belk Hamrick, in 1960 and together they raised three children: Shantina, Dena, and Ronnie. While his children may have questioned his parenting methods at times, there's no denying that they inherited his sense of humor.

Jim was also a doting grandfather to 10 grandchildren, who will surely miss his playful antics and infectious laughter. While they may not have always appreciated his antics, they will always remember the love he had for them.

Rest in peace, Jim. You may be gone, but your jokes will live on forever.
