James Earl Taylor was born March 8, 1949, to the late Earl Taylor and Emma Robinson Taylor. He was baptized at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Edwards, Mississippi under the leadership of the late Dr. M.K. Nelson. James Earl was a truck driver for numerous companies. James had one son, Daris Taylor; four brothers, Willie Taylor, Emmitt Taylor, Ralph Taylor and Robert Taylor; his loving wife Veronica Taylor all proceeded him in death.

A Lifetime brother John Mack Payne, Eudora Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
