Mr. Jake Lee Hill, 76 of Lake City, Florida passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009, at North Florida Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on March 13, 1933, in Live Oak, Florida to the late Frank and Nettie Hill. Jake Lee Hill attended school in the public school system of Suwannee County. He owned and operated Jake Hill Trucking Company for a number of years in Lake City, Florida. Jake Hill was the fourth of six children. Siblings included: Frank Hill, deceased and Isaac Hill, also deceased (Mary) Quitman, Ga., Alberta Davis, Lake City, Willie Lee Hill and Katherine Hill both of Jasper, Florida. Jake Hill leaves three children to cherish his memory: Jake Hill, Jr. (Deborah), Chella Blocker (Edward), and Katrina Dunmore all of Lake City. The viewing for Mr. Jake Lee Hill will be held Friday evening December 4, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at New Daysprings Missionary Baptist Church where the Reverend Lantz G.
