Monmouth, Illinois – Jake Skrivseth, a beloved member of the Monmouth community, passed away on March 2, 2024. Jake was born on March 1, 2010, and spent his entire life in Monmouth, Illinois.

Jake was a bright and talented student who attended Monmouth-Roseville High School. He excelled in his studies and graduated in 2028 with honors.

Outside of academics, Jake had a passion for sports. He was a star athlete on the basketball team, where he showcased his skills on the court. Jake also participated in track and enjoyed running in his free time. His dedication and hard work were evident in his performance in every game and race.

Tragically, Jake's life was cut short when he was hit in the head with a basketball. His untimely death has left a void in the community and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jake will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering determination. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
