Jacqueline M. MundisDoverJacqueline M. (Butcher) Mundis, 88, who was formerly of Dover, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Rest Haven-York. She was the wife of the late Gordon O. Mundis.Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with her pastor the Rev. Fred Walthour, officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Mundis was born on August 18, 1928 in Manchester and was a daughter of the late Mason E. Sr. and Charlotte (Neff) Butcher.She retired in 1990 from the Pfaltzgraff Company in York. Prior to that she had worked at the former Guy Hobb's Furniture Company in Glen Rock and T.R. Taylor Furniture Company in York.Jackie was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Glen Rock.She leaves two sons, Alan R. "Butch" Mundis (Carolyn) of Glen Rock, Harwood E. "Woody" Mundis (Lisa) of New Windsor, MD; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy A. Trish of New Oxford and Cheryl Fetter of York. She was predeceased by a son, Gregory P.
