It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Walker Tanner, who left us far too soon on October 12, 2025. Born on December 18, 1969, in Cleveland, Mississippi, Jacqueline was known for her quick wit and infectious laughter.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her father Johnny Frazier and mother Catherine Walker. Jacqueline was the devoted mother of Dshondria Tanner (spouse Dmond Smith), Jarvis Walker (spouse Sondra Walker), Brian Walker, and Emerald Walker (spouse Demontre Akins). Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

After graduating from Eastside High School in 1988, Jacqueline pursued a career in comedy, bringing joy and laughter to everyone she met. Her comedic timing was unmatched, and her jokes could brighten even the darkest days.

Though Jacqueline may no longer be with us, her laughter will live on in the hearts of her ten grandchildren and all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Jacqueline, and may your jokes continue to bring smiles to the heavens above.
