It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacob Mathews, who left this world on December 10, 2024, after a valiant battle with a heart attack. He was born on August 31, 1932, in Columbus Grove, Ohio, and throughout his 92 years of life, he brought love, laughter, and unforgettable memories to all who knew him.

Jacob was a devoted father to his six children: Jimmy, Cynthia, Henery, Bob, Justin, and Tony. He also had the joy of being a grandparent to his wonderful grandchildren: Susie train, Mathew train, Cora trig, Henery Jacobs Kaitlynn bishop, tiffany Mathews Jessica manning Ezkiel matron ,

Jacob proudly served in the army, where he displayed unwavering courage and dedication to his country. He was a true patriot and his commitment to serving others was unmatched.

His sense of humor and quick wit will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Jacob had a way of making even the most mundane moments feel special, and his infectious laughter could brighten any room.

As we say goodbye to Jacob, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the memories we shared with him. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will never be forgotten.
