Jack Richard NealZANESVILLE: Jack Richard Neal, 86, of Zanesville, passed away at 4:24 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born on December 1, 1926, in Zanesville, a son of the late Arthur and Myrtle Franklin Neal. He retired as an inspector for General Electric. He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Army during World War II.Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Mildred Noyes Neal; a daughter, Cindy (Bill) Burger of Pickerington; two brothers, Gerald Neal of Georgia and Jim Neal of Orlando, FL; and three sisters, Betty Swope and Ruth Havens, both of Zanesville, and Shirley Dixon of Centerburg.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Neal.Friends and family may call from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 South 7th Street, Zanesville with Rev. Mark Matzke officiating. Jack will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
