Jack Herman PostlethwaitZANESVILLE: Jack Herman Postlethwait, 87, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Forest View Health Campus.He was born on January 5, 1926, in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of the late Albert and Loraine Thompson McCune. He was owner and operator of Post Express, Post Cab Company, and a trucking company. Jack had also worked on the railroad, in construction and for UPS. He was a current member of the North Terrace Church of Christ and a past member of Zane's and Jane's and Bunkhouse Wheelers. He was a Hereford cattle farmer.Surviving are his wife, Betty J. Goff Lowe-Postlethwait of the home; two step sons, Vaughn Colman and Louis Colman, both of Cambridge, OH; two step daughters, Sondra (Robert) Bargar and Brenda (Harold) Williams, both of Nashport, OH; six step-granddaughters; five step-grandsons; 23 great and great-great grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Sue) McCune of Cambridge, OH; five sisters, Mary Belle (Don) Voorhies, June Cheese, Bessie (Fred) Barritt, Mae (Bill) Dennison, and Linda (Thurman) Braggs, all of the Cambridge area; a sister-in-law, Linda (Donald) Wilson and a brother-in-law, William (Sheila) Goff, all of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith Postlethwait; a step son, Terry Lowe; two brothers, Raymond Postlethwait and Jim McCune; and a half-brother, Lee McCune.Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the Snouffer Chapel with Mr. William Meaige officiating.
