Ja’quail James, 9, of Clover, South Carolina, passed on September 4, 2020. Ja’quail was born on February 24, 2011. Ja\'quail was diagnosed with the debilitating Battens disease at the tender age of 3 years old. An extremely rare disease that gradually affects vision, motor skills and the ability to speak. Everyone who knew and love Ja\'quail especially before his diagnosis, saw him as a vibrant and charismatic young king who LOVED basketball . It pained us all to watch his joy gradually regress as his symptoms became more aggressive. It was very important for us ( Mom,Dad ,big brother and extended family )to make his precious and valued years on this earth as calming, safe and secure as he battle this horrible desease. Our hopes are we made him proud.
