Iva M. Gaylord, 100, of Lakeview, passed away peacefully at her home on October 29, 2015.She was born on September 9, 1915 in Jackson Township to the late Harry and Sadie Daniels.She was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Earl H. Gaylord, two brothers and three sisters.She is survived by three children and their families: Kathy and Ron Busch of Colorado, Carol Osborne of New Jersey, and Robert and Sherry Gaylord of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and companion of many years, Terry White.Iva and her husband owned and operated a successful dairy farm in Jackson. She also enjoyed her gardening, her crafts and was a talented seamstress. After retiring from farming, they traveled extensively in their motor home and they spent winters in Florida until losing her husband in 2001.Iva will be greatly missed by her family and friends.A funeral service was held on Monday, November 2, 2015, at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, with Pastor Joe Travis officiating. Burial in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeview. The family received friends at the funeral home prior to the service.
