Iska Ginn Mazeres passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. A native of Tylertown, MS, she was born on Sunday, May 23, 1928 to Catherine Crawford and Burke Ginn and was a resident of New Orleans for many years before moving to Covington in 1993. The beloved wife of the late Ernest Mazeres, Jr., she is survived by her daughter - Diane Mazeres Lee; one grandson - Scott Kenneth Lee (Leah); three great grandsons - Chasse, Zachary and Hayden Lee; one great granddaughter - Jesse Rizzuto; three sisters - Helen Mansur, Genevieve Kennedy and Mavis Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law - Wm. Kenneth Lee; two brothers - Herbert and Donald Ginn; and one sister - Wilda Alford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours on Wednesday will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment at All Saints Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA will immediately follow services.
