Obituary

Isaac Robert Vernardo, affectionately known as "Nicky",  was born in Gary, Indiana on January 24, 1944  to Isaac Vernardo Sr. and Helen Vernardo. He was a very mischevious and fun loving child and had a deep love for reading in childhood and throughout his life. Isaac graduated from Roosevelt High School and soon found work as a Dental Assistant. In 1964 the family moved to Chicago, Illinois.

Issac was the jokester in the family and cooked the best french fries you ever tasted. In 1993, Isaac moved to Denver Colorado and reunited with his favorite childhood cousin, Coffee. Isaac was a follower of the Nation of Islam for many years, but in 2014, he accepted Christ as his Savior. Isaaac lived in Denver until 2016 when his health began to be a challenge. He returned home to Illinois to be cared for by his daughter Endla and sister Pamela until his death on March 25, 2020 .

Isaac was preceded in death by his mother, father, one brother, and two sisters. He leaves behind two daughters, Endla Thornton and Tamika Page-Blue, one son, Don Jose Ramon Page, one sister, Pamela Vernardo, one brother, Marvin Vernardo, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
