Irene M. Schave, 82SartellApril 22, 1934 - March 26, 2017Services will be private for Irene M. Schave, 82 of Sartell, who passed away at her home on Sunday. Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.Irene was born on April 22, 1934 in St. Martin to Nicholas and Mathilda (Schmitz) Terres. She was united in marriage to Walter "Wally" Schave on June 27, 1955 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Irene was very determined, social and hardworking, owning and operating several restaurants throughout her life, such as the Towns Edge Café, Schave's Dairy Treat and Irene's Café. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Irene enjoyed playing cards, bingo and trips to the casino. She showed much talent in sewing, needlepoint and making doll clothes. Irene was a dedicated foster parent, was kind hearted and reliable.Survivors include her husband Wally of Sartell; sons and daughter, Jody (June) of Sartell, Lori Jo (Garth) Turner of Sheridan, WY and Brian of Wilmington, NC; twin brother, Ralph "Bud" (Jeanne) Terres of St. Martin, sisters and brother, Jenny Hagemeier of Cold Spring, Maddie (Ray) Kleeve of Cold Spring and Lee (Donna) Terres of Sartell; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
