Inez H. Gros, 95, resident of Thibodaux, passed away April 26, 2016. A native of Labadieville, LA; she was born on April 7, 1921.Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 11:00 AM until service time at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. She was the mother of Kenneth "Ken" P. Gros and wife, Diana and Daniel "Boo" P. Gros and wife, Cheryl; sister of Elodie H. Bourgeois.Grandmother of Kenneth Gros, Jr., Robert J. Gros and wife, Rhonda, Tanya G. Tregre and husband, Chris and Ryan D. Gros and wife, Erin. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her husband, Clovis "Tom" Gros, Jr.; parents, Augustine Hebert and Alcida Landry Hebert; sisters, Lucille H. Esteve and Rita H. Dugruise; brothers, Louis Hebert and Harry Hebert.She and her husband, Clovis "Tom" Gros, Jr., owned and operated Gros' Seafood on Lagarde St. in Thibodaux from 1955 to 1968.Special thanks to her caregivers Hilda Chiasson, Wanda Alleman and Jodi Billiot for their loving and compassionate care, and to Home Health Center of Thibodaux Regional, especially Katie Hebert.
