Ian MacDonald, 35, of Reno Nevada passed on December 02, 2021 at Renown Medical Center. He was born to Ronald F. MacDonald and Victoria M. MacDonald in Reno, Nevada on April 22, 1986.

Ian attended Sparks High School from 2000-2004 where he played football for the Sparks Railroaders as wide receiver and free safety for 2 years as well as playing on the Sparks Golf team during his Junior year at Sparks High School.

He was very close with his father and lifetime golfing partner Ron MacDonald who unfortunately passed away in February of 2017 of cancer. Anyone who had the blessing of knowing Ian knew that he was a loving and caring person and even a greater friend. It's wasn't any secret that for the last 10+ years of his short 35 years on this earth, he was continuously and vigorously fighting his sometimes not so private battle with addiction that sadly would be what would claim his life. 

You were considered by many to be a "miracle" when you were born and now God has called upon you for something more important to be a part of.. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten..
