Huston Davis JenkinsMarch 27, 1929 - August 2, 2015Huston Davis Jenkins, 86, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Buhl, ID. He was born on March 27, 1929 in Malad, Idaho the 1st of 6 children of Huston L. Jenkins and Caddie Davis Jenkins. Huston attended schools in Rexburg graduating in 1948.He was a member of the LDS Church. Huston completed one year of welding at Ricks College then served an LDS Mission in Kentucky.He married Jacqueline Henning, together they had 8 children. She preceded him in death. He later married Patricia Bacon and they had a son. They were later divorced. On August 17, 1972 Huston married Mariland Campbell Davis and brought 5 children into the family. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren of all ages. Huston was a heavy equipment operator at FMC and retired in 1998.He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Huston enjoyed square dancing and was a Chubbuck Reserve Police Officer.Survivors include, his wife, Mariland; children, Kjell (Gail) Jenkins, Neil (Kay Dawn) Jenkins, Kevin (Carolyn) Jenkins, Anita (Don ) Davis, Elaine Marler, Gina (Roger) Tims, Tamara (Dan) Stauffer, Judilynn Gonzales, Huston Dee (Kaylene) Jenkins, Les (Fa'aleo) Davis, Richard H. Davis, Rachel (Robert) Gumbel, Cheryl (Mike) Mings, Cindy Harris; brother, Vaughn Jenkins; sister-in-law, Eileen Jenkins; uncle, Kay (Florence) Davis; 57 grandchildren, and many great and great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Frank, Delbert, Jay, and Arlene.A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83201. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 2 pm at the LDS Bonneville Park Ward Building, 135 S. 7th Ave. Pocatello with a viewing for one hour prior to services.
