Howard F. Ensmann, Jr.Howard F. Ensmann, Jr., passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2017. A resident of Montvale, NJ, formerly of Guttenberg, NJ, age 83. Howard was born on November 11, 1933 in Hoboken, NJ, and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring he had worked as a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service in Guttenberg, NJ and after retiring he had worked at Seiferts Pharmacy in Guttenberg, NJ. Beloved husband to the late Patricia (nee Christiansen) (2010). Devoted father to Howard Ensmann III and his wife Sally, Gary P. Ensmann and his wife Marlene, Patricia Hobbie and her husband Larry, Paul Ensmann, John Ensmann and his wife Yira, Michael Ensmann, Dora Grubic and her husband Michael and Robert Ensmann and his wife Phyllis. Adored grandfather to nineteen grandchildren and one predeceased grandaughter and eight great-grandchildren. Howard was one of fourteen children and is survived by five sisters and one brother. Funeral from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, N.J. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 9 AM, thence to Oueen of Peace R.C. Church in North Arlington, N.J. where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J. The family will receive their friends Sunday 4-8 PM.
