He was a World War II US Marine Corps Veteran; a Purple Heart Recipient.He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Buhl, nee Denando; a daughter, Barbara Buhl; his parents, Albert and Barbara, nee Ross, Buhl; brothers and sisters, Albert Buhl, Robert Buhl, Wilbert Buhl, Alice Miller, Irene Buhl and Viola Southard.Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Marilyn Catalpa of Collinsville, Ill., Linda (Freddie) Kaspar of Collinsville, Ill., Susie Lingle of Collinsville, Ill., Gene (Joan) Catalpa of Collinsville, Ill., Dennis (Melody) Buhl, Maurine Martin of Reno, Nev. and Diane Sharos of Belleville, Ill.Memorials may be made to Ss.
