Henry Speirs , 59, of Centerville, Iowa, passed on January 26, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Henry was born on October 28th , 1963 to Elmer Lew Speirs and Sylvia May (Knowles) Speirs. 

Henry was united in marriage to Sherri Whynoski of Quincy, IL ; Deanna Smith Friday of Quincy, IL; Donna Lashbrook of Quincy, IL; Sherri Williams of Hannibal, MO; and finally Patricia Cooperider Speirs of Centerville, IA. Of these marriages, Henry 'Buddy' (Marlayna) Speirs II; Brandy Friday of Quincy, IL; Kenny Speirs of Lewistown, MO; Christopher (Patricia) Sparks of Keokuk, IA; Jacob Sparks of LaGrange, MO; William (Kayla) Sparks of Maywood, MO were born. 

Henry worked various jobs throughout his life including; electrical, building materials, roofing, and others before becoming disabled. Henry enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his friends and family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. 

Henry is survived by his wife Patricia Cooperider Speirs. His sisters Renea (Michael) Thompkins of Moravia, IA and Tina (Stephen) Powers of Quincy, IL. Grandchildren, Dale Brooks, Dalayna Brooks, Henry Speirs III, Josiah Speirs, Cortez Franklin, and two others. As well as one great grandchild. Nephews; Maurice (Amber) Speirs of Newton, IA; Robert (Danielle) Tasco of Cincinnati, IA; and Stephen (Jessica) Powers of Quincy, IL. Niece; Samantha (Jay) Powers of Quincy, IL. Great nieces and nephews; Isaiah Speirs, Kamden Speirs, Lincoln Selk, Teagan Speirs, Maurice A Speirs, Destiny Speirs all of Newton IA; Jaydah Weldon, Jrayah Weldon of Quincy, IL. And several cousins. His in laws, William Russell Cooperider, of Hannibal; Gerald (Laura) Cooperider, of Independence; Travis (Sam) Blackwell, of New London; Mike and Mark Blackwell, of Hannibal. Treva (Timothy) Clanin of New London. Special friends; Eddy (Cindy) Casey of La Grange; David (Sarah) Forrest of Quincy; Stella Hinds, children, and Ray. 

Henry was Preceded in death by; paternal and maternal grandparents; parents, Sylvia and Elmer Speirs; brother, Elmer Speirs; daughter Hope Marie; step son Dennis Sparks JR.; Mother in law Carolyn Cooperider. 

Cremation has been arranged. Services will be held Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God, 1901 Missouri Avenue, Hannibal, MO. Burial at a later date in Quincy, IL.
