YUHASZ, HELEN SERA (née Hric) September 22, 1923 August 25, 2017 Helen Sera Yuhasz (née Hric), beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the Mayfair Care Center on August 25, 2017. She was one month shy of her 94th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband Mike and son Steven George. Helen is lovingly remembered by her son Michael and his wife Linda Elaine, of Calgary; grandson Matthew Kyle Yuhasz and his wife Laura Elaine, of Calgary; and granddaughter Elizabeth Rose Yuhasz and her son Dayano, of Tofino, British Columbia. She also leaves behind her sister Betty Weiss, niece Anne Brisco, and family in Montreal; as well as her niece Marylin Baron, and family in San Diego. Helen was born on September 22, 1923 in Cestice, Slovakia, and she immigrated to Montreal with the family in 1937. There she met Mike and raised a family of her own. At her request there will be no formal service held, and if friends and family so desire donations in Helen's memory may be made directly to a charity of one's choice.
