Helen T. Santinelli, age 96, formerly of Tampa, FL and Milford, NH, passed away December 6, 2016 at Arbor Trail Skilled Nursing Center in Inverness, FL.Helen was born on December 13th, 1919 in Ludlow, MA to John and Julia Bednarzyk and was one of eight children.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley Bednarzyk, Benny Bednarzyk, Joseph Bednarzyk, Walter(Sonny) Bednarzyk, and her sister Millie (Bednarzyk) Gorecki. She was also preceded in death in 2000 by her loving husband of 52 years, Gustavi Santinelli.Helen is survived by her sons Joseph Janowiec (Charlotte) of Milford, NH, Paul Santinelli (Penny) of Hernando, FL, a daughter, Carole Flanders (Roger) of Epson, NH, sisters Ann Bednarzyk of Ludlow, MA, and Sr. Mary Romuald, CSSF, Enfield, CT, fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great-grand children, and two great-great-grandchildren.Helen was an avid gardener and outdoors person as evidenced by the plants and flowers that adorned her yard year around. She was also an excellent cook and loved to cook for large gatherings of family, friends, and guests. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who truly loved spending time with her family.She moved from Ludlow, MA to Milford, NH where she lived for 25 years before moving to Tampa, FL in 1975 and resided there until her passing. The torch has now been passed to the next generation of family to carry on with the love, nurturing, and wisdom that she provided during her time here on earth.A celebration of Helen's life will be celebrated in the near future.
