Helen C. Low1925 - 2013Helen Chistine (Breuninger) Low, 88, died June 20, 2013, at Bethany Riverside Nursing Facility in Lacrosse Wis.Helen was born on March 19, 1925 in Sheboygan, Wis., to the late Lily (Eichstaedt) and Carl Breuninger. She attended schools in Sheboygan and graduated from North High School in 1943.She served in the U.S. Navy, where she met her beloved husband Melvin. They were united in marriage on June 1, 1946, in Bainbridge Ga. Helen was very active in Eastern Star and was Worthy Matron of Kenosha Chapter and Grand Worthy Matron for the State of Wisconsin.She loved gardening, doing crafts, and travelingHelen worked for the Kenosha County Assessors office.She is suvived by two daughters, Mary Borland of La Crosse and Christine (William) Wilbik of Kenosha; three grandchildren, James (Lisa) Borland, Christopher (Vickie) Wilbik and Scott (Denise) Hopkins; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and caring friend Sheila Karraker.Helen was prceeded in death by her husband Melvin Low, and Grandchild Jill Wilbik.Our family would like to extend a very special thank you to Bethany Riverside Nursing Facility for their kindness, caring and the love they showed our mother.A visitation will be held for Helen on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Proko Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th Street Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Helens Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com
