It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Boyzer, who was born on June 5, 1948 in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. She peacefully departed this world on March 7, 2025.

Helen was a loving wife to Walter L. Brooks, whom she married in the year 2002. Together, they raised two beautiful children from a previous relationship, Rose and Kizzi. She was also a doting grandmother to three precious grandchildren , Latafah Boyzer , Monique Williams and Tyrease Boyzer.

Helen had a deep passion for music and spent countless hours tending to her beloved garden. She found solace and joy in these hobbies throughout her life.

Despite her battle with cancer, Helen remained strong and resilient until the very end. Her courage and grace in the face of adversity inspired all who knew her.

She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
