Harvey L. Pate 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 peacefully with his family by his side. He was born on July 14, 1925 in McFarland, CA.Before moving to Arizona Harvey worked as a rancher. In 1966, beginning in the Foothills of Yuma, Harvey started Foothills Sanitation, Inc. In 1986 he started L & L Real Estate Development, and developed commercial real estate, specializing in large metal buildings. Harvey and his wife Jackie were both baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brawley, CA on June 10, 1969. Harvey died faithfully serving his God Jehovah.Harvey is survived by his wife, Jackie of 57 years; his son, Mark; grandson, Kyle all of Yuma; his brother, Jack Pate of Bakersfield, CA; sister, Ida Carlson of McFarland, CA. and many nieces and nephews.Memorial services for Harvey will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4985 E 30th Pl. Yuma, AZ.
