Harry passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 2, 2017. He was born on November 20, 1924 to Jennie Marie and Harry C. Farley in Eugene, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Betty Jane Farley and is survived by a daughter Jenne Lee Deaton (Richard) and a son Patrick Allan Farley (Gayle). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.Harry graduated from Eugene High School in 1941. He went to work for Western Electric in 1941 and retired in 1981. He served during World War II for the Navy Seabee's in the Pacific.Harry and Betty spent summers from 1983 thru 2003 at Shelter Cove on Odell Lake kokanee fishing. Harry and Betty were charter members of Tri Pass Water Ski Club in it's early infancy when it had one small dock and an out house. He was instrumental in changing it to several moorage docks and one large ski dock and the construction of indoor bathrooms with a covered area. He was transferred to Bend, Oregon late in his career with Western Electric and while living in Bend he and Betty were charter members of Moon Country Snowmobile Club. After retirement he built a house on the outskirts of Bend where he lived until the last 6 years of his life. He then moved to the Truckee, CA and Reno, NV area to be close to his son and family.
