WOODRUFF - Harry E. Piepmeier, age 86, formerly of Racine, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at his home. He was born on September 2, 1927 in Racine, the son of Harry A. and Pearl (nee Becker) Piepmeier. Harry was a proud Navy Veteran and was a member of the Moose Lodge, German Club and the Northside Businessmen Association. He was a general contractor for 35 years. In 1976, Harry moved to Woodruff and did carpentry work around the area until 1983. Harry married Dorothy on February 17, 1983. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Piepmeier; children, Barb (Michael) Poulsen and Harry F. (Cinda) Piepmeier; granddaughters, Michele (Dean) Steger and Christine (Wayne) Molitor; great-grandsons, Kaylor and Connor; cousins, Grace Bauer, Charlotte (William) Smollen, Winnie (Patrick) Pastore, Judy Berger, Arlene Ackerlund and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Bolger Funeral Home – Woodruff Chapel, with a gathering one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
