Harley Wayne Jerde1933 - 2016Harley W. Jerde, 83, of Twin Lakes, Wis., passed away on July 8, 2016. Harley as born on Feb. 14, 1933 in Wilmot, Wis., to the late Martin and Sadie Jerde. On March 20, 1954, he was united in marriage to the late Marilyn (Miller) Jerde for 12 years. On Dec. 1, 1979, he was united in marriage to RoseAnn Jerde, who passed away Feb. 28, 2016. They were together for over 43 years. They loved to travel the country on their motorcycle and were lifetime members of the HOG, Lakeshore Chapter. Harley continued to ride his motorcycle, even on the day he passed away. Harley worked for Art and Fern Schultz Plumbing and Heating Co. in Silver Lake, WI. for over 40 years and later worked for Carl Schultz at Five Star Coating in Twin Lakes, Wis.Harley was a member of the Silver Lake Fire Department for many years and retired assistant Chief; he was among the founders of the Silver Lake Rescue Squad. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends. Harley is proceeded in death by his beloved first wife Marilyn, son Ronald, his parents, sisters; Shirley, Myrtle, Dawn, and Marlene, his beloved wife RoseAnn, son Larry Otto, daughter Antoinette Schwegel, and great grandson Jorden Spivey Jr. Harley is survived by his brother Eugene Jerde, his children Randy (Laura) Jerde, Linda (Gary) McGrath, Brenda Jerde, Joseph (Anna) Otto, Theresa (Steve) Marshall, Cindy (Jan) Holcomb, and Josephine (Steve) Jerde; 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be missed dearly by all.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Rumpoles in Twin Lakes.
