de la Vara, Guillermo Ricardo Jr. Guillermo "Bill/Rick" Ricardo de la Vara, Jr., age 54, of Phoenix, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on September 21, 1963 to Guillermo Sr. and Maria Luisa (Rodriguez) de la Vara. He attended Camelback High School graduating class of 1981. On April 13, 1985 he married Mary Renae (Rooker) in Phoenix. He enjoyed watching and quoting movies and watching ASU and Pittsburgh Steelers football. Guillermo is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, Mary; three children, Joelle (Michael) Huston, Jessica (Taylor) Otstot, and Jocelyn de la Vara; a brother, Steven de la Vara; three grandchildren, Evan, William "Liam", and Philip; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria in 2009. Memorial mass will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11300 N. 64th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
