Grover L. Williams (Sonny), 70, of Peoria, IL passed away on May 5 th , 2020 at a nursing facility in Niles, IL.

Sonny was born on April 1, 1950 in Peoria, IL to Adell Williams Gordon and Grover Faulkner. He was

raised by his grandparents, Robert and Lillie Williams, who both preceded him in death.

Sonny leaves to cherish his precious memories to his loving family; three brothers, William “Jacob”

Moore, Earl and Jimol Gordon; three sisters, Lillian “Kay” and Rochelle “Angie” Moore, and Charlette

Faulkner; all of Peoria, IL, and a host of other family and friends. One sister and one brother also

preceded him in death.

Sonny loved to ride his bike, collect cans, play cards, dominoes and most of all hanging out with his

cousin Johnny Clark (Gloria).

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
