It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gretchen Corbo, 71, of Levittown, Pennsylvania. Gretchen, a mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1954, to Madeline Martz and Harry Martz of Hershey, Pennsylvania. Gretchen was a beloved member of the Levittown community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Prior to becoming ill, Gretchen was a dedicated member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She is survived by her children Nina Barbetta, Simone Barbetta-Latos, Lisa Donofrio, and Justin Barbetta. She had a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a contagious smile that could light up any room. Gretchen was known for her love of music, nature, and spending time with her friends. Her presence brought joy and warmth to those around her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Gretchen.

A funeral will be held in Gretchen’s honor on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Galceranos Funeral Home in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Friends and family are invited to attend Holy Communion at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in the church hall immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Gretchen’s name, as this cause affects the lives of many.
