Gracie, our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister and aunt went to be with our good Lord on October 30, 2024, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was born on May 26, 1935, to Elias and Delubina Garcia in Espanola, New Mexico.

In 1955, Gracie married the love of her life, Joe Garcia, and together they raised four children: Sharon Garcia, Joseph Garcia (spouse Barbara), Harold Garcia, and Jerry Garcia (spouse Suzy). She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren: Jennifer Garcia (Josh), Maria Rodriguez (Joe), Deanna Sanchez (Pat) and Monique Garcia. She was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren who brought her so much joy.

Gracie spent many years working as a Professional Caregiver, where she touched the lives of those in need with her kind heart and compassionate spirit.

Gracie lived her life to the fullest, there was never a dull moment as long as she was around. She taught us the true meaning of family. Her greatest gift was her time, something she shared endlessly.

Gracie will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her delicious homemade meals and tortillas, and of course her unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral services. A private burial will take place for immediate family. Gracie's wishes were instead for family, friends and loved ones to gather and celebrate her life and share good times and memories. The family has organized a private celebration of Gracie's life.
