Gordon was the son of Joseph and Mary Simon, and was a loving partner to Zena Merchant. Together, they raised seven children: Howard, Ray, Vanessa, Petol, Rosa, Roxanne, and Dexter. Gordon was a dedicated family man who always put his loved ones first.

Throughout his life, Gordon showed strength, resilience, and unwavering love for his family. He instilled in his children the values of hard work, kindness, and perseverance, and his legacy will live on through them.
