Gordon Allen Frank, 84 of Huntersville died October 27 at the Carillon of Huntersville. He was born on November 4, 1931 in Boston to the late Bertram and Rebecca Frankenstein. Gordon served in the US Army and as division director for the Department of Defense.Survivors include his beloved wife, Mimi Frank; daughters, Sally Ann Frank (Scott Buchanan) of Cornelius and Pamela Beyers and husband Richard of Dumfries, VA; granddaughter, Brooke; son-in-law, Dave Phillips; and sister-in-law, Jean Frank of Hull, MA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Frank.A service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, November 6 at 2:00 in the chapel of James Funeral Home with a reception following in the James Funeral Home Community Room. Rabbi Michael Shields will officiate.
