Gloria Simmons, 65, passed on December 28,2021. She was born to Herbert Jones and Delores Jones on May 13, 1956.
She married Henry Simmons and they lived together in Halifax, North Carolina. Together they raised 3 children Jayme Harris (David Harris), Shawn Hughes, Justin Hughes.
Gloria graduated from Weldon High School in 1975 and received a degree from the North Carolina A&T in 1980.
Gloria worked at Halifax Community College and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She also volunteered at the NAACP.
