On February 15, 2025, Perrysburg lost one of its brightest lights with the passing of Gloria Sawdy at the age of 84. Born on March 22, 1940, Gloria brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Gloria attended Lincoln High School and went on to work as a housekeeper at MCO, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring in 1992. When she wasn't working, Gloria could be found indulging in her favorite hobbies of baking and sewing, creating beautiful and delicious creations for her loved ones.

Gloria is survived by her two children, Theresa (Terri) Boecker (George) (Son: George Boecker II) and Daniel Sawdy (Daughter: Nicole Sawdy). Her sister Emmy Chandler.

Her Brother John {Jackie} Wilder

Her Daughter Debi Kaczynski

Her Sons Joe Sawdy and Chris Sawdy Her Grandsons Josh Sawdy, Shane Boecker and Mason Mayville.

She was a loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren 17 Great grandchildren and 4 Great Great grandchildren with 1 more on the way. They will always cherish the memories they shared with their beloved grandmother.

Gloria's warm smile and infectious laughter will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be remembered for years to come.
