Hall, Glenn 95 passed away unexpectantly at his home on June 7, 2016. Glenn was born on July 29, 1920 in Nardin, OK, to Vern and Verna Hall. In 1940, Glenn joined the Oklahoma National Guard, serving for one year. Upon the commencement of World War II, he sought a discharge from the Guard and enlisted in the Army Air Corp. He was a WWII veteran, having served as a Pilot in the China-Burma-India Theater. After being discharged as a 1st lieutenant, he eventually went to work for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller, retiring after 37 years. On July 9, 1944, he married Margaret Kopperud, the love of his life. He was a member of the Riverside Christian Church. He enjoyed traveling, boating, fifth wheeling, the OU Sooners and spending time with his family. Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; children, Nancy (John) Langley; Terry (Nobella); daughter-in-law, Maria; sister, Mary Jean Cox; 7 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David; sisters, Iola Crow, Delora Williamson and Maxine Hall; and brother, Kermit. Visiation will be held at 1:30 p.m. with the Funeral Service following at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 13, at Riverside Christian Church. Burial will follow the service at Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the Riverside Christian Church.
