Gladys B Westover passed away Feb. 20, 2013. She was born on Dec. 7, 1927, to Isaac and Elizabeth Barnes. Gladys spent her early years on the farm. In the young women's program she earned the Golden Gleaner Award. She graduated from Downey High School, and then served an LDS. mission in Toronto, Canada. Upon return she married Reed K Westover in the Logan LDS Temple. Reed and Gladys farmed in Swan Lake, Idaho, until 1969 when the family moved to Providence, Utah, where they lived for 40 years. They then moved to Hyde Park. Gladys worked as a medical clerk at Sunshine Terrace for 25 years. After she retired she enjoyed quilting, needlework and baking cookies. This was a love she shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by an infant child Penny and her oldest son Kevin who recently passed. Gladys is survived her sweetheart of 60 years, one sister Grace (Bob) Mattson, children: daughter-in-law, Kathy Westover, Vicki Westover Meeds, Diana (Royle) Wheeler, Craig (Shawna) Westover, Adair (Jim) Maughan, thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 North, Logan, Utah.
