It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gilbert David Urdiales, who peacefully left this world on March 4, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 29, 1966, to Gilbert M Urdiales and Gloria A Urdiales.

Gilbert did not have any children but leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He attended Fort Knox High School from 1981 to 1983 and later graduated from Hanau American High School in 1985. He went on to further his education at the University of Maryland at Munich, graduating in 1990.

Throughout his career, Gilbert worked at VIA Metropolitan Transit for 8 years, where he was a proud member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 694 organization. He was dedicated to his work and made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

Outside of work, Gilbert enjoyed watching sports, spending time with family and friends, going to the Gun Range, and barbecuing. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Although Gilbert's time on earth was cut short, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
