Berkovitz, GilbertGilbert (Skifter) Berkovitz, age 67 of Kewaunee died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, November 23, 2013. He was born on August 13, 1946 in Kewaunee to the late Walter F. and Leona (Zuzanek) Berkovitz.He enjoyed playing cards with his best friend, Pat, cutting wood, road trips and beer.Survivors include four brothers and one sister-in-law: Sylvester (Pinky) Berkovitz, Dennis Berkovitz, Jerry (Bearcat) and Linda Berkovitz, Dale (Hokey) Berkovitz all of Kewaunee; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Karen Barrette, Kewaunee and Janet (Harold) Ebert, Algoma and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Berkovitz Jr., two sisters: Sandra and Sharon, one brother-in-law: Paul Barrette.Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 25 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee.
