Gilbert Alvarez, 66 passed away on May 27, 2025, at his home in Bakersfield, California. He was born on August 16, 1957, in Arlington, Texas to Gilbert Alvarez and Elida Cueva.

 He is survived by his six daughters, Connie Priscilla, Roberta, Crystal, Desiree, Robert, and Evelyn. His grandchildren, Juan, Vincent, Raeann, Michael, Raymond, Adrian, Robert, Angel, Angelina, Raylene, Selena, Rayna, Mariah, Jasmine and Alisha. And his great grandchildren Aria, Aries, Julian, Matthew, Demie, Leo and Ariel

 He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Alvarez, his son Gilbert Alvarez, and his sister Esperanza Alvarez.

 A viewing will be held at Basham funeral care 3312 Niles St., Bakersfield, CA 93305 at 5-8pm june 11, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 3312 Niles St., Bakersfield, CA 93305 11am-12:30pm April 12, 2025.
