It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Morera, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Maria was born on January 1, 1920, in Odin, Minnesota, United States, to Edward and Mariam Lopez. She was married to Eduardo Morera in 1938 and together they raised seven children: Victor, Tina, Joseph, Mary, Mariam, Scott, and Eugene.

Maria graduated from Odin Preparatory School in 1936 and went on to graduate from MNSU in 1946. She worked at Christiansen Farms for many years before retiring in 1994. Maria was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus organization and was awarded Outstanding Farmer of the Century for her contributions to the community.

Outside of her work, Maria enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and playing the piano. She had a keen eye for detail and took pride in creating beautiful and delicious meals for her family and friends.

On August 24, 2024, Maria Morera passed away peacefully in her home in Odin, Minnesota, at the age of 104. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work that will be cherished by all who knew her.
