Germaine C. Timm, age 92, of the Township of Woodville, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. Paul's Home in Kaukauna surrounded by her family.Germaine was born on December 1, 1923 in Reedsville, daughter of the late Herbert and Anna (Heberer) Krueger. She was a graduate of Kaukauna High School, class of 1941. When Germaine was 18 years old, her father told her the church was in need of an organist. Germaine taught herself how to play the organ and remained the organist at St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church for over 60 years. She not only learned the how to play the organ, but also the piano, accordion, trombone, and baritone.On February 19, 1944, Germaine married Clarence Timm at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Kaukauna in the Township of Woodville. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1992. The couple owned and operated their dairy farm together for many years. Germaine also raised their three children, was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, the church organist and pianist, taught Sunday school, was a member of the Altar Guild and the Ladies Aide. She taught Clarence how to dance and enjoyed those dates with him. Germaine especially loved spending time with her family.She is survived by two sons, William (special friend Joan Hagens) of Laona and Jeffrey (Kathy) of Menasha; grandchildren: Rita (Mark) Krupka of Eagle River, WI and Brian Timm of San Francisco, CA; half brother and sister-in-law: Allen (Nyla) Krueger of Hilbert; brother-in-law: Jack Hahn of CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.Germaine was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother: Dorothy (Timm) Krueger, her husband Clarence, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Peter and Lizzie (Maas) Timm, one son: James on July 8, 1977, one daughter-in-law: Barbara on August 11, 1990, her sisters and brothers-in-law: Lorraine (Walter) Stanelle and Lois (Elman) Gigsted, and other in-laws.Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Kaukauna. The Rev. Andy Luehring will officiate. Burial will be at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Cemetery.Friends may call at church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.Online condolences may be made. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Germaine's name to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church.The family of Germaine Timm wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the excellent care provided for her the past two years by Affinity Home Healthcare and Hospice nurses, social workers and aids, especially Laurie and Shelly.Also, the family would like to acknowledge the exceptional, compassionate care and support provided the past seven and one-half months by the staff and volunteers at St. Paul Elder Care .
