Geraldine D. Perusek (nee Kowalchyk), age 88, entered into rest Monday November 1, 2016. She was born on March 20, 1928 in Lorain, Ohio. She was a member of St. Mary's Alter & Rosary Society, Avon Seniors, Isabella Guild and Mission Circle # 30. She enjoyed spending summers on Middle Bass Island with family and friends. She was a kindhearted, and loving mother and grandmother who was very involved with her family. She is survived by her husband Stanley C. Perusek, sons Robert, Patrick, and Gregory (Theresa) all of Avon, and 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas, and Michael. She was preceded in death by her sisters Olga Kamfolt, and Killie Kidder, and brother Mike Kowalchyk. The family will receive friends on Friday November 4, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM with the rosary recited at 7:30 PM at the MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, 36363 Detroit Rd Avon where closing prayers will be on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Avon. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
