PETER, Georgia Roberta Entered into God’s care on February 20, 2015 peacefully at home in Sebastopol at the age of 85. She has been a lifelong resident of Sonoma County. After she raised her children, she made a career for the next 30 years selling produce at the local farmers markets. She enjoyed traveling, socializing, loved music but most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Duckhorn; parents, Ed and Dorothy Dowdall; and three sisters. Georgia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Virgil; daughter, Linda “David” Duckhorn; three sons, Thomas Peter, Gary “Diane” Peter and Larry “Diane Starkey” Peter; eight grandchildren, Andrea Pforsich, Sheila “Kerr” Johnson, Teresa “Amanda” Peter, Virgil “Ashley” Peter, Bruce “Jennifer” Howard, Rachel, Jared and Katie Peter; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Edward Nick “Mary” Dowdall.
