George "Pete" F. Anderson Jr.Pataskala: George "Pete" F. Anderson Jr., 73, of Pataskala, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born on January 12, 1944 in Columbus, OH, a son to the late George F. Sr. and Virginia M. (Scott) Anderson. Pete loved to fish with his wife, make things with wood and leather. He loved to be with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pete was a former Firefighter with the Pataskala/West Licking Joint Fire District. He was retired from Lazarus and from Columbus Truck. Pete is survived by his loving wife of all their lives, Sharon (Green); son, Randy (Tara); daughter, Debbie (Mike) Newlun Sr.; grandchildren, Tabatha (Joe) Zaayer, Mike Newlun Jr., Tiffany Denlinger, Nathan (Erin) Anderson, Matt (Heather) Newlun, Tyler (Sara), Caleb, Bo (Abdul) Osborne, Brandon and Brady Pinkerton; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Isabell, Matisen, Aubrey, Allison, Stephanie, Mikenna, Amelia and Logan. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Scott Anderson and grandson, Steven Scott Anderson. Friends may call from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home with Father William A. Hritsko officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
