It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Matthew Dunlap, a beloved father, grandfather, husband, and friend. George peacefully passed away on October 21, 2024, surrounded by his family, at the age of 51.

Born on August 15, 1973 in Lubbock, Texas George grew up with a passion for the outdoors and a deep love for his community. After graduating from high school, he went on to serve his country in the United States Army.

Outside of work, George was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking, fishing, and camping with his family. He spent countless weekends in the gulf fishing and, passing on his love for nature to his children and grandchildren.

George is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Lynette Dunlap ; his 2 daughters and 3 sons.

George will be remembered for his generosity, his dedication to family, and his unwavering faith. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
