DZUBA, Genevieve MaryOn October 1, 2017 Genevieve Mary Dzuba passed away peacefully. She was born on March 18, 1922 in Whitby, Ontario but resided in Edmonton, ABJenny was predeceased by her first husband, Charlie Sands; and their infant son, Michael; as well as her parents, Hiram and Mary Bradley; and many of her siblings. Jenny will be greatly missed by her husband, Peter; daughter, Wendy; son, Clinton (Patty); and her beloved grandson, Daniel who loved her dearly.Jenny served as a sergeant in the army (WWII) and as a hair dresser for 25 years. She loved cooking, dancing, travelling, fishing, music, bowling and curling. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She would always have her family over and insisted on cooking holiday meals.We were so blessed to have such a loving, graceful, strong and giving woman in our lives. You will always be in out hearts and thoughts, rest in peace knowing that you did good work here and gave your very best.We would like to express out deep appreciation for the wonderful care that the nurses and staff provided Jenny at South Terrace Continuing Care.A private reception will be held at the Strathcona Legion.Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.hainstockedmonton.com.
