Two of his best friends in life were Charles Randolph and JC Fulton who he shared many fond memories with. Gene Houston lovingly dedicated his life to taking care of his parents, children, and grandchildren. He was a kind, patient, hardworking man who never complained, or took for granted his loved ones or his time with them; always being there for anyone who needed him and never hesitating to lend a hand. He was not always a man of many words, but he could always make the people around him laugh and he sure did love a good beer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
