Gary Lee Walters passed away at the age of 76, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was born on June 17, 1947 in Washington courthouse, OH to the late Everett and Virginia Walters. Gary was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran earning a National Defense Service Medal during the Vietnam War and worked as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic Apprentice during his time in the service. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Virginia Walters; grandson, Darren Johnson; and his first wife, Linda Williams (Gromacki).

Gary is survived by his second wife, Joan Walters (Yagodich); two children, Laura and James Williams; three stepchildren, Carl Palmquist, Dawn Johnson, and Bobbie Staggs; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Gary preferred to be called Jack. He was a loyal and devoted man with a passion for the Lord. Outside of work, Gary had a wide array of interests and hobbies that he pursued with great enthusiasm. He was loved more than he will ever know and will be greatly missed.
